  1. Hey guys, i'm thinking of getting the corsair hs70 headset and just out of curiousity i wanted to ask if its possible to connect it to your smartphone? I know it does not have a cable or bluetooth but is it possible to connect the usb receiver with your phone via a usb otg adapter. Of course i mean working sound and mic. it would be nice if someone that owns one could try it out.
  2. OK nice I will try that out . So it can be used via app or smart speaker if its supported.
  3. So I cut open a USB cable and solder the part from the Dock to the inputs and then the part from the light Dock to the output? Do I need anything more or can I then start it with my phone?
  4. Hey guys, I'm thinking about what to do with a Product i got. The Product is a dock for my Nintendo switch dock that has changable plates that are light up by leds. Well the product does what its intented to do but as lazy as I am I always have to walk up to my dock to power it on or off by pressing a button and I want to change that. It gets powered on via a micro usb->usb 2.0 cable. So i have it connected to the usb Port on my Nintendo switch dock. Now my question is if there is a Product to remotely cut the power that goes from the switch dock to the light dock? My thought was that I would have a remote control or just a switch that would allow me to cut the power that goes to the light dock. The ideal way for me would be to always have power to the original dock and have some sort of remote interception between the orig. dock and the light up dock. It seems unnecessary but its really annoying to turn it off at daytime or when i leave and turn it on at evening. Maybe someone has an idea what I could do.
  5. Hey guys, my old tablet (Galaxy tab2) dosen't really work that great after I spilled some hot tea over it. Occasionally freezes where I need to wait until it runs out of power. So I was looking for a new tablet, not too expensive but also solid quality. I was first looking for a 100€ tablet but I could also afford one around 150€. So I hope I can get some advice here. What I think is important for me: - watching Videos for longer trips(so sd card slot is important) - not too big (7-8") - clean android or custom rom support - decent power for gaming - battery life Looking forward to advice Thx
  6. Thanks for the replys. I think I will go with the WD blue 3tb.
  7. Hey guys, I am in need of a new Harddrive and decided to go with something like 3TB prefered. But there problem is now which one. I want to use it primary as storge for my games (steam libary ). Maybe some other Media too. What I found to be the best solution would be WD Black drives. As far as I know I should look for 7200rpm and reliability. But to be honest. They are a bit too expensive with about 160€ where I see others for half the price. I know quality costs more but are there good alternatives for primary gaming? I see Seagate or Toshiba drive around 90€ with 7200rpm and 64mb cache but I hear they are bad in the long run as they fail after maybe 2 years. Would a 3TB WD Blue 5400rpm 64 mb cache lack for gaming? I have a Asus z170 pro gaming as a motherboard. Thanks in advance.
  8. Yeah, a backup was one of the things I thought about. I read somewhere that changing the motherboard would deactivate my license. I think Linus mentioned DDU in a Video in the last couple months but the name just wouldn't come to mind and searching for it ...no point. Thanks for the advice
  9. Since I will be overclocking the i5 to around 4,6 ghz there will be a bigger difference to the 2600. But that wasn't really my question.
  10. Hey guys, I will be upgrading my PC in a few days. New graphics card comes tomorrow, the rest propably on tuesday. I will only be keeping my Storage Drives for the new PC. 1 SSD with windows7 and some app+games and 2 HDDs for mass storage. Now how should I upgrade? Waiting for all parts to get? Or maybe I could already uninstall old graphic drivers and install new one as soon as my gpu comes. I will be switching from g560ti to r9 390. Then when my new cpu+mainboard arrives put the storage drives and new gpu on it. Do I need to update the bios? I read that "Driver Sweeper from Guru3d" could be used. Would you recommend it or maybe another programm. I want the upgrade to be as smooth as possible so I hope to get some adivce which steps I should take. Quick list of parts I will upgrade i7 2600-->i5 6600k old mainboard--> asus z170 pro gaming gtx 560ti -->msi r9 390 And ofc cpu cooler, ram, psu and case Thanks
  11. As fast as ever =D Thanks, I will order my parts on friday as it seems the msi r9 390 is going to be restocked then again. Hype intensifies^^
  12. Hello again senpai, sorry for bothering you but I am unsure about the case+cpu cooler. There seems so little space left between cooler and case. The nanoxia deep silence 3 allows cpu coolers up to 165mm and the dark rock 3 is 160mm. Since there is sound dampening material im unsure if it fits. And would the cooler cover the ram slots on a "Asus Z170 Pro Gaming"(decided on that) I want to order my stuff these days and I dont want to get frustrated over space issues.

  14. As I was looking up all my parts to order I was a little confused over 2 parts. The case and a cpu Cooler. For the Case I want a "Nanoxia Deep Silence 3 gedämmt Midi Tower(70€)". It looks great and simple+ it has a good noise isolation as far as I can tell. For the CPU cooler I thought about the "Cooler master hyper 112 evo tower cooler (30€)". On most formus they say its great for a i5-6600k but does it cool it enough if I oc it to 4,6ghz? 4,6 would be the max i will use I think. And ofc it needs to fit into the case. And it should not cover ram slots from the "MSI Z170A TOMAHAWK Intel Z170 So.1151 Dual Channel DDR4 ATX" I would be at around 957€ with all the stuff. 1000€ would be my limit. Is all the stuff good enough or should I upgrade something to reach the 1000 limit. Hard drives + Ssd are not needed as I have them already. Thanks for all the help already ;D
