Schools should consider adopting NFC-oriented ways of making payments. NFC, or near-field communication, is an intuitive technology that allows you to use your mobile device for specific purposes and is, as it turns out, quite easy. NFC is rather easy to use. When two devices are near each other, a prompt pops up, suggesting various options. A suggested function is depositing or receiving money.
If schools start to integrate NFC into their ecosystem, school life would be more efficient. Students would be able to pay for lunch with ease and peace of mind, and not have to worry about ever losing money; and even if they loose their phone, the NFC wallet is pin protected. Money will be easily transferred without the hassle of getting change and feeling like you have been cheated.
