Maruti Suzuki Cervo: In 2012, Maruti Suzuki had stated that the company is considering the possibility of launching a new car in the small segment. A replacement of Maruti 800, the Cervo, has already been introduced in Japan. The Maruti Cervo is expected to come powered by a 0.7 L, 660 cc petrol engine along with maximum power capability of 60 bhp. The Cervo will come with a Variable Valve Timing (VVT) technology that assists the engine to deliver low emissions with a decent fuel economy. The Cervo is a hatchback model with five doors and sitting capacity for four. The car sports a looks youthful look, both on the interiors and exteriors. The design of head lamps, fog lamps and the tail lamps add to the beauty of the car. Expected price range is from Rs. 2.5 to 5 lakhs. Expected launch date is December 2017.

XUV500 Compact: The Mahindra XUV500 in India has been a massive success for Mahindra. Seeing its popularity, Mahindra is all out there to bring in a compact XUV500. The XUV500 Compact will have all the styling details and may get a ladder-frame construction which will mean reduced costs. The compact XUV500 will be under 4 m length and thus gets tax benefits. Like the Quanto, the XUV500 Compact will have a 1.5 Litre diesel engine with around 100 bhp.

Toyota Rush: Toyota is all ready to launch a brand new Toyota Rush very soon. The Rush facelift gets some cosmetic changes on the exteriors as well as the interiors. Toyota Rush is a sub-4 metre vehicle. The high end trims get a TRD Sportivo kit which includes sportier bumpers with TRD badging all around. The variants to be introduced in India are expected to be a 1.5 litre 5 speed petrol manual engine and a 1.4 litre D4D diesel turbo version. There is a possibility that Toyota would introduce an automatic too. The car is scheduled to reach the Indian market by December 2015. The expected price of the Rush is Rs. 5.50 to 11 Lakhs.

Renault Duster Facelift: Renault’s best seller, the Duster is ready with a Facelift that features a host of cosmetic changes and a new petrol engine option. The facelifted Renault Duster gets a new grille, revised headlamp design as well as a new air dam. It also gets new front and rear scuff plates, revised tail lamp assembly, modified roof rails and 16-inch wheels. The Duster Facelift will retain the engine line-up - a 1.5-litre diesel and a 1.6-litre petrol. However, the Facelift will have a new 1.2-litre TCe petrol engine. The Renault Duster Facelift is expected to see a launch in January 2015.
