  1. Hi all, I don 't know if thats the right subtopic, so if it's wrong pls move it where it belongs Just posting again after a 8 year hiatus, so not quite sure where to put it I bought a quest 2 some months ago and played some BeatSaber back then, but didn't play for the past couple of weeks..Yesterday I started again, to play some Ragnarock with my flatmate, and my Quest does behave strange. In the Oculus Software it's shown as connected, but the connection test doesn't work (1 out of 10 maybe). Same with SteamVR, mostly it doesn't find my Quest. I already reinstalled the Oculus Software aswell as SteamVR, I reinstalled all the drivers for the Quest, I factory reset the Quest, tried every USB port, bought an extrta pcie USB 3.0 expansion card... I did not change anything hardware related to the last time I played, and back then it worked flawlessly, just plugging in, starting SteamVR and playing Beatsaber. I know that my hardware is outdated af, but she still works fine, and the fact that it worked so well just 2 months ago makes me think it's either software thats bugged, or my PC does wierd things software related. Anyway, thanks for all the help. Maybe someone has a solution, cause I tested anything and can't find a conclusion...
  2. and when Uni is over I don't know if there is more CAD work to do, and if so I can buy a quadro then
  3. yeah priorities are uni but not only uni, I am 3 months in Uni and 3 months at the business I am studying, and when there is not so much CAD and there is time to game thats it
  4. you are right, a quadro would be better, but I wanna do other things than CAD and for gaming a quadro sucks
  5. yeah please post the new rig. The merchant doesn't matter cause I will buy where it is the cheapest.
  6. I have to say it is actually for my friend, he is studying in Heidenheim DHBW Maschinenbau
  7. as I said gaming is not so important, mostly for uni because there is not much time for gaming, and I have 3 more years to study
  8. about 1000€, but here in Germany the i7 and the r1700 are mostly the same price
