  1. Also cpu is the same? hdd while better is only 1tb.
  2. I don't really like win 10, but I can get win 7 for like $16
  3. So I have this build http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/dcFjD3 and was just wondering if i could make it cheaper while keeping the same general performance. I want to be able to game, I'm not "hardcore" and don't play and super hd games but I'd like to be comfortable with my fps/performance in most games. I want to have the option of being able to record and render video. That's probably it, question and suggestion are always welcome. Thanks
  4. I know, it's also a room heater : 3 970 = twice my price range, idk depends on the situation.
  5. I'll try to do it at the same time than, or just gpu and not install it. Depends on the situation when I get it.
  6. i5 4430 I believe. I will, but if it'll work with my current one than I'll probably buy the gpu, and like a week or two later get a psu. Also which 270 or are they all about the same? Soooooooooooo

    So

So I'm looking to upgrade my gpu. This is one I found http://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00SD9KZCI/ref=asc_df_B00SD9KZCI3856790?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&tag=iceleadscom-20&linkCode=df0&creative=395093&creativeASIN=B00SD9KZCI&ascsubtag=s1440489696730g6uta52378. Was wondering if it would work, and if it's a good option, if there's better for cheaper, whatever. My psu is some random dell 460w Terrible picture but wanted to confirm these are 6 pin http://prntscr.com/88sbzt. Again terrible picture but http://prntscr.com/88scax... Thanks.
  8. I told him about the psu, but even low it's such a small amount of $ he might not be able. thanks thou
  9. Thanks man, me and him are both hoping he and i get new pc's. him more than me. Sorry, I am skerb/nub. How would this help gain access to an admin profile(from one I believe isn't).
  10. So basically my friend is trying to construct a a semi budget PC. He says his needs are something around the ability to run at least medium range games(for example he plays CS:GO, Dead island, but will probably have plans for some higher end games later.). Umm just the ability to multi task, game, music, team speak, basics. He would like to keep it at maximum $600. Currently hes looking at this build http://pcpartpicker.com/p/6cYHgs Questions or suggestion PLEASE leave below. Thanks. P.S. I wasn't sure where to post this so I just threw it in here. Also sorry if I missed a bunch of info he's not really sure what he wants/needs and I have no clue. EDIT: ALSO IF SOMEONE KNOWS HOW TO GET ACCESS OR SOMETHING TO A LOST ADMIN PROFILE WITH RESTORING BEING THE LAST RESORT PLEASE SHARE.
  11. Thanks everyone, just wanted to make sure, I'll look into it more, but I wanted to make sure it would fit and be compatible.
  12. not 100% yet probably Sapphire Radeon R9 280 3GB Dual-X Video Card unless you have a better suggestion i might spend a bit more so when I go full build it's better
  13. Just wanna make sure that if I buy a new PSU, like the Corsair CX 500W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply , that it will work with my prebuilt PC(dell xps 8700). So to try to clarify I want to upgrade my PC, and once I get a new PSU and GPU for this one, I'm going to start buying/saving for the rest and just remove the two pieces from this computer. But I want to make sure the PSU will be compatible(Don't see why it wouldn't) and make sure the GPU will be compatible when i finally get enough. Thanks.
  14. i was just thinking this but, as you know i was looking to a 970 but what about getting 2 cards that could sli and be cheaper with same performance or same price with better performace, if not them whatever but i was wonder if there was.
