  1. Dont worry i wont forget! Neither about turning the PSU off!
  2. Thats what i thought.. well had to ask... safety is number one after all ^^ Thanks man! Btw loving your profile gif
  3. So i´ve got all my parts for the build already and im about to build it tomorrow, my question is pretty noobish actually, i even tried to look it up on google but found mixed answers about it Soo when building, should i have the power cord plugged in the PSU in order to ground myself when i touch it or not? Im asking because ive read about some guy saying its dangerous to leave the cord in.. so im confused (the power button thingy on the PSU would be obviously off) Thanks guys, hope nobody will kill me for such question
  4. Heya Was just wondering if im not able to buy 980 which card should i go for? Asus 780 or evga classified assuming the evga is 28bucks more? Or maybe should i pick MSI which is 10bucks less than asus one? Would appreciate if you throw at me some nice comparisons and reasons instead of just saying the brand name. Thanks guys
  5. Thought it would end up like this Well... had to try
  6. Hi guys, I want to ask how fast is the 980 compared to 780Ti? Also, will the maxwell be more easily overclocked compared to kepler or not? And last question: if the 780 and 970 are priced almost the same in my country, which one should i take and why? Thanks guys
  7. I would NOT get the pentium, its just a dual core and its much weaker than the 4690K. Look here: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-2248115/intel-pentium-g3258-ghz-4690k-ghz.html
  8. Well this is one way to solve my problem but I wont utilize those 16gbs for just gaming.. no video editing or stuff.. And i dont feel like paying more when i wont use it.. i'd rather save my money towards my future GPU. Could you please answer me about my question - If i can run both channels - 2x4gb in dual and one 4gb in single? Thank you
  9. Hi guys, can I buy kit 2x4Gb ram running it in dual channel and then, when i need more ram in the future can i drop in another 4gb (of same type - kingston hyper x) that would run in single? So the kit (2x4) would run double channel and the one bought afterwards only single channel? Is it possible? I hope you understand what I mean, thanks guys
  10. Wow, thank you so much Will just spend money on 780, i know its pricey but at least its troublefree to certain point Thanks everybody for your help!
  11. Would you please help me with one more thing? If instead of GPU i will spent the money on CPU (4690K) and let someone help me to OC it to 4.4-4.7GHz what will be the gaming FPS difference again 4590 on 3.3GHz? I know it looks like a really really big difference paper wise... but how big exactly is the difference in games? Thanks again!
  12. Wow that is so freaking helpful Thank you very much! The PSU indeed is 220-G2-0750-XR model I will mostlikely get the 8gb now and then try to add 4gb more if needed in the future, hopefully it will work. I've chosen black due to its 5 year warranty, really low failure rate and fast overall and tbh I dont want to change it much Im not so sure about the 780 though (compared to 290)... pros: lower heat, lower noise, good drivers, low failure rate, little bit lower power draw (not that it matter much), shadowplay, no blackscreens as on 290/290x as i've heard... and there is quite lot of them but on the other hand the con: 40% more price for 15-20% performance gain soooo thats quite tough decision... although i will save quite bit on those rams so it shouldnt be a problem.. but still Any ideas?
  13. So since i will be buying 8gb of ram, should i get 1 stick or 2 because of dual channel? Also as i save the money i was thinking of giving the money towards 780 rather than PSU or the CPU where i see no point (obviously i might be wrong) any ideas if i should get 780 and have no worries or getting 290 and be worried about drivers, black screens which plagues 290/290x, bigger noise, more heat and most importantly i've found out that those graphics have about 15% failure rate compared to nvidia's 1-2%... i know im paying about 40% more for 15-20% more performance but i think those facts that i've stated before should have been considered... what do you guys think?
