  1. So i need a new pair of headphones to use with my computer, iv narrowed it down to these three; SteelSeries Siberia V2 - £60 (original price £82) via Amazon Corsair Vengeance 2100 Wireless - £55 (original price £150) via Amazon Logitech G430 - £50.95 (original price £70) via Amazon But yeah their all in about the same price range that im looking at. Iv heard good things about each set but beyond that, id like more opinions on these ones. They would be mostly used for PC gaming along with listening to music, im not fussed on the wireless feature, though it is nice but not needed. Only listing the 2100's as there cheap right now/heard good things about them. Thanks!
  2. For the time being it would be a 1080p monitor, but i have plans to upgrade to something a little higher. Thanks for that suggestion, il be sure to look it over! And just so i know, you'd suggest going with the 290 over any GTX 780?
  3. Hello! So i'v wanted to join the PC Master Race for a while now, and iv just come into a bit of money from my job which would allow me to do this. So as someone who knows very little about PC hardware, i automatically went to Reddit for advice (it was the only site i knew where i could get help via /r/buildapc), so a few nice users there recommended this build to me (below). Now i removed the GPU component (which was originally a GTX 780 - Windforce by Gigabyte) because i'v seen great performance from other cards such as the Sapphire R9 290 (which is cheaper, by £75), so im kinda stuck and would like some help on exactly what i should be changing/leaving in the build to get the most out of it. 1. Budget & Location England (UK) Budget - £1100 2. Aim To be able to max most new/upcoming games (Witcher 3 for example - looks sexy as hell) as well as to be able to handle small/medium amounts of programming work (nothing too intense). Not sure if you guys will need to know this, but the games i currently own and would like to play with max settings on are; Skyrim (been recommended to mod the crap out of it for a better playing experience), Borderland 1/2, Bioshock 1 - 3, Fallout 3, Just Cause 2, Red Faction Series, State of Decay, The Witcher 1, 2, Overlord 1/2 and GTA 4/5 when its comes out. 4. Peripherals Have the ones i need. 5. Why are you upgrading? Not upgrading, new build. ------------------ Build i was suggested; PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor (£164.34 @ Aria PC) CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i 77.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler (£78.73 @ Amazon UK) Motherboard: Asus Z97-A ATX LGA1150 Motherboard (£103.99 @ Aria PC) Memory: Kingston Fury White Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory (£62.31 @ Amazon UK) Storage: Samsung 840 EVO 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive (£83.99 @ Amazon UK) Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (£37.14 @ Aria PC) Case: Corsair Air 540 ATX Mid Tower Case (£104.75 @ Aria PC) Power Supply: Corsair CX 750W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply (£65.99 @ Aria PC) Optical Drive: Lite-On iHAS124-04 DVD/CD Writer (£11.79 @ Amazon UK) Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (OEM) (64-bit) (£79.47 @ Amazon UK) Other: Antistatic Wrist Band (£1.47) Total: £793.97 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2014-08-20 16:43 BST+0100 *Gigabyte GTX 780 Windforce Rev 2.0 was removed from the above build!* I guess im mostly asking for advice on which GPU to get but im open to other suggestions with the above build. Also would it be a good idea to wait for the new GTX 800 series cards to come out or no and just buy something now? Thanks again.
