not really sure what you are asking. no peripherals? or those 2 peripherals?

Also, i think you should try and get a list together on your own, and then ask for tips.
Also with a 2k pound budget, there isnt a lot you cant buy.
Also try and say what you are goin to use the system for.

I am here to learn, please correct me if im wrong or you see me putting bs on your screen!

I’m looking for peripherals separately. I was thinking core i7 8700k and 1080ti/2080 and 16gb ram not sure for powere supply or cooling

a Z370 mobo should be good enough. Also a Corsair RMX series is what i would choose.
I think the dark rock pro 4 is already a thing for cpu cooling. with this budget you may even slap an AIO in it.
I myself like the Corsair h115i on my 8700K

I haven’t really thought about water cooling but what speed do you think this could hit on say pubg on max at 1440p

yeah it'll probably be able to do it. Get a water cooler or a beefy air cooler though.

what are be calling speeds? FPS ?

the RTX 2080 will do more then your monitor can handle, probably.
Ur question is like :" Can this 500k Lambo go 30 in a schoolzone"
for clarification, the lambo being the GPU and the schoolzone the game.

I am here to learn, please correct me if im wrong or you see me putting bs on your screen!

Thanks but does this list have everything I need to build the tower (I know I need thermal paste ) would you recommend trying to make it water cooled or just adding some more air coolers. Also would you recommend adding any more ram. And is that the best cpu to chose. TLDR: DO YOU THINK I NEED TO MAKE ANY ADJUSTMENTS TO THIS PART LIST

I think that 750 watt PSU be ok although if you are thinking of overclocking then maybe go for a 850watt.Also about your speed question, look up some i7 8700k +2080 benchmarks to get yourself a good idea of the performance.Unless you are gonna do mostly competitive gaming then go for a 144Hz or 244Hz 1080p monitor and if you wanna go in between you probably are better off with a 1440p at 144Hz.And for 4k,you can push this system to 4k and get decent frame rates but I wouldn't recommend that unless you are gonna play mostly single player games.Basically this is big overkill for 1080p and even at 1440p you should be able to MAX out every new AAA and get easily above 60fps.
