I try to install windows 10 and it doesn't work

I am trying to download windows 10 x64. I was using windows 7 premium, but wanted to play some games that need windows 10. I upgraded, but it went to x32 bit windows 10. i have installed the x64 based os on a usb, and formatted the drives to download windows 10 x64. i have gotten to where you can format drives, but can't click next

In Win10 installer or while creating USB? Sorry, your post isn't clear about this. If its latter, download ISO and burn it from local drive. Microsoft servers are bit iffy with that part.

If its in installer, can you post pic? Have you formatted/created partitions to drive you want to use? If you have more than one drive connected, it may be worth of try to disconnect all other drives than one you are going to be using for Windows.

Sounds like your Windows 7 was 32-bit, and you did an upgrade instead of a clean install.

You cannot upgrade Windows 32-bit to 64-bit, you need to wipe first (format) and clean install, as if you got a new system/new drive (backup your stuff before doing anything, 'cause it will all disappear when your wipe he drive.)
