Asrock Z370 Pro4 + cooler vs Extreme4 with Hyper212

 Share

Heya,

I am waiting on my 8700k to arrive next week and am wondering on what I should do with the remainder of my budget. Should I get the Asrock Pro4 or the Extreme4? I currently have a hyper 212 evo cooling my 6600k and have read really good stuff about both boards, with the Extreme4 having better vrm cooling and oc capabilities and more features than the Pro4, but is quite more expensive, so should I pick the Extreme4 and upgrade my cooler at a later stage or pick up the Pro4 with a new cooler

Depends on what features you need on the board, and whether you will OC  the CPU to the max or whatever... I still see a lot of people wanting high end mobos, and then not OCing even.

check the price of the z390 gigabyte gaming x in your region, if it's equal to the extreme4, use that instead.

It's pretty much the same as the extreme4, though that would force me to use my hyper 212 evo before getting enough $ for a D15. Would it be worth it, or should I get the pro4 and the D15s?
