Barring this, is this "local marketplace" something like Craigslist/hardwareswap or eBay?

If it's the former, you're on your own for buyer protection. You can make it a legal issue, but it's not likely to be worth your time, or money spent.

If it's the latter, paypal has buyer protection for not-as-described.

Not a bad card, but I'll talk down the price to $450. At $500 it's in RTX 2070 price category, somewhere a used card (let alone a mined one) shouldn't be.

It's more like eBay.

Definitely try to do that atm..

The card was bought in December 2017 for 10 months mining.

What should I asked more to the seller about this card?

I just asked on what TDP level it was mined, still waiting on reply......

make sure it's running on the factory BIOS rather than a mining BIOS. It could be a pain to get it back to factory BIOS yourself.

@xg32 @Semper @Jurrunio FYI, this price is the lowest/cheapest GTX 1080 Ti I've found available so far in my country. Idk why the GPU prices here is still scarry.. Maybe because most of the people here bought a card on crazy prices when the crypto-mining is exploded, and now when it's over they doesn't want to lose so much of selling price margins that is far too low from what they've paid before, so they still want to sell them on relatively higher than your country.. Sounds stupid I know..
