Right monitor for my system?

moonspice

I've recently decided that I need to upgrade my monitor, its really (in laymen's terms) the only thing bottle necking my pc gaming experience. I have a 4790k oced to 4.6ghz 16gb of ram and a GTX 1070ti, don't harass me over the CPU gen, my PC dual boots to windows and mac osx and Ive found it works better with my current gen CPU in my case, never mind that however. I've heard that the 1070ti is the 2k aimed gpu and im ready to switch from 1080 to 1440, I just want some other peoples opinions on what I should do, and what settings and fps I should expect because I've had not much luck finding benchmarks. I plan on a 1440p asus or benQ (which ever cybermonday deal is the most appealing) 75hz monitor, I play Dayz, scum, cs-go, pubg, and battle field mainly. Please feel free to voice any recommendations you have or concerns.
