Forgot pattern lock on phone....

Vod

Hello!

So I've forgot the pattern lock on my phone and I don't know what to do.

I have a lot of important data on that phone so I don't whana lose it.

I've tried restarting my phone and a bigger problem occurred, now i have to unlock my phone to activate android.

So is there a way to check phones lock code with an gmail or something?

If you try it enough times and get it wrong, it should give you an option to enter your backup PIN code that you made when creating the pattern.

??? Does that mean that you forgot the PIN code as well, or did it not ask you set one? What?

Ah ok I see, does it not even give you the option to unlock using Google Account? Is it just a straight up pattern lock with no other options? Because if it is, then I don't think you have any other option but to Factory Reset and lose all your data.
