Opinions on Gigabyte Fan Control Software Implementation

To be brief,
I had a terrible experience with a High-End Gigabyte motherboard (Sniper 5) and planned to go Asus for my next build. However, Z390 boards kinda suck all around for VRM design except for Gigabyte and I plan on going with a 9900K .
I really want the quality of Asus' software (so I can eliminate my NZXT Hue+ and Corsair Commander Pro) but don't want to support their bad VRM design decision which is present on the majority of their Z390 boards. Ergo, has Gigabytes software improved? Specifically their Fan-Control is what I'm interested in most, but also RGB control etc... cause Gigabyte's UEFI hasn't improved.

I'd love to hear peoples experience(s) with it bad or good for their more recent models as it's hard to find that information.

It's probably shit like the rest of the manufacturer's software. Asus's software is freaking awful.

Sorry I have no experience with Gigabyte's software.

I'll have to disagree with you on that, perhaps it's because I'm used to just used to how terrible Gigabytes software was for the Z87 era that I'm easily impressed... but I recently built a system for somebody using an Asus Z390 Hero and the fan control software was very well done compared even to the Corsair Commander Pro (iCue / Link) which has actually gotten worse over time if you can imagine that.

Eh, I just think it's really bloated, and god awfully slow. Like seriously why does it take 5-10 seconds to switch from fan to fan? Other than that, it DOES work.
