i just got a redcat shredder 1/6 and it runs 4s so im using 2s in series but 1 battery is 6000mah 60c and the other is 5000mah 50c does it matter that they have different mahs and c ratings or is it fine to run those in series

its fine to run them in series generally as the weaker battery will be the limiting factor for both of them.

 

one thing to keep in mind is that this will put more stress on the smaller battery and also means you will need to monitor the voltage of this battery so it doesnt drop too low.
