Monitor for this RIG

Hey Guys,

 

So I have come up with what my build is going to be without having to worry about VRM heaing issues with the 1070 & 1080 ftw series. Could you guys recommend a monitor I should buy or 2 ? That this rig could handle I know 144hz is the go to but would 144hz be good at 1080p? or should I get a 1440p 144hz ? even though I will ideally be gaming at 60FPS? any recommendations are welcomed. Looking at $500NZD for a single monitor or if I can squueze 2 that would be great.
