PCI-E USB 3.0+SATA III CARD

I'm would like to add USB 3.0 and SATA III to LGA 775 system, have found this card

this mobo has PCI-E version 1.1 so I need x4 at least but the card is x1, the question is if it's going to work at full speed ? x1 card in x4 slot

PCIe x4 is just an extended PCIe x1. You technically can put any PCIe card in a x4 with some modifications to the slot (for any bigger) and it can technically work. Linus did this with a budget build, put a 1070 in a PCIe x4 slot after cutting the end off. As a side note, usually on mobos there is only one true pcie x17, the other ones are either x8 or x4. 

 

Yes, it will still be full speed. As for quality of the product, I have no idea
