Non-UEFI motherboard use GPT?

I am just wondering if a non-UEFI based motherboard will work with a GPT SSD in AHCI mode, planning to install 64 bit Windows 10 pro.

If you plan to boot from it, then you can't. It won't work. But as another drive that is not the boot drive it will be fine. For the boot drive you have to use MBR for Legacy BIOS.
