AMD Motherboard Recommendations?

So I'm looking for a mini-ITX motherboard (they're more expensive but I need a SFF) to pair with a Ryzen 7 1700x but I'm sure whether I should go with an X3/470 or a B450, as well as a reputable/ high-quality board.

B450 will do, in ITX boards X and B chipsets share the same VRM. unless you want specific features (like moar USB ports at the back), there's no need to go X chipset.

Are you going to be doing any overclocking on the 1700X ?

Since you mentioned B350/450 and X370/470, I am assuming yes...

 

Either B350/450 or X370/X470 will depend on the features you are looking for.

Generally, the X370X470 boards will have a stronger VRM.

 

But...have a look at these ones:
