Can I Crossfire with my MOBO? (RX 580s)

I came across a really nice deal for 2 RX 580s (300 CAD) and was wondering If I could Crossfire

GA-AB350M-DS3H - Is the MOBO I currently have, the name is deceiving because its a x370 chipset with B350 in the name.

First of all, yes you can CrossFire on that board as it is supported by the B350 chipset.

Second, that is not an X370 chipset.

X370 would have better VRMs and VRM cooling, more SATA ports, and SLI support.

no it's B350. Just use CPU-Z and go to the 'mainboard' tab, it shows the chipset there.

Also crappy boards with DS3H, D3H etc name in Gigabyte's lineup don't support CF.

First, B350 DS3H doesnt support Crossfire. It's not mentioned in Gigabyte's site, compared to higher end boards (higher is clearly a comparitive term) like the B350 Gaming 3 specifically mentions Crossfire support (and obviously no SLI Gaming 3's case).

Second, Gigabyte did make an X370-ds3h, which is even worse than the b350-ds3h by having 3 phase VRM for the CPU cores rather than b350's 4. They share the same mosfets.

It's a B350 board, maybe a typo in the webpage.

How come it has a X370 and gigabyte not mention it in the name, its just bad for sales.

No mention of crosfire in the webpage and maybe disabled in the bios.

This board have 2 full sized pci-e slot, so in theory it can support crossfire.

Maybe if someone out there can modify the bios so it can do CF.

I tried to lookup a while back why this board has B350 name but X370 chipset.  Apprantly this is the response from a Gigabyte rep:

Ryzen 2600 - Sapphire Pulse Vega 56 - Corsair Vengeance LED DDR4 3000 C15 2x8GB - Corsair Force MP500 NVMe PCIe M.2 240GB - 2x Seagate Barracuda 2TB -

AsRock B450 PRO4 - Deepcool Earlkase Case -  Seasonic Foucus+ 650

WTF...why? .... Gigabyte.... why?

Looks like if a X370 chip fails to meet X370 specifications (e.g. partly faulty), it gets cut-down / modded, and put onto a B350 motherboard.

IMO, they shouldn't just refer to it as B350 -- I mean, it's functioning like a B350 chipset.
