My computer doesn't have an ethernet port anywhere near it, I am thinking I should get a powerline adaptor, what is a good cheap one? OR should I just buy a proper PCIE wifi card?

How old is your house?

How big is the distance between the primary router and your room?

These two are key indicators for quality and speed of a powerline connection. It's not viable in old houses with old wiring (pre 70's) and over long distances (ground floor to 2nd floor/attic for instance). A powerful wireless access point and card will do better in those circumstances.

PC Specs - AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D MSI B550M Mortar - 32GB Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR4-3600 @ CL16 - ASRock RX7800XT 660p 1TBGB & Crucial P5 1TB Fractal Define Mini C CM V750v2 - Windows 11 Pro
