I currently have a PC with the following configuration:
Intel i5-4690k @3.5Ghz

8GB DDR3 RAM Corsair Vengence 

Gigabyte B85M-D3H-A Motherboard

Nvidia Titan X Pascal

 

I'm looking to upgrade this configuration so I can get even better performance, but it should be economical.

get a 4790k, another 8 gigs and a new mobo. then you can go on for a long time

I would keep the platform, get the top chip for lga 1150 and 8gb more ram and you will be fine.

oh crap, K chip on non OC board...

i7 4790 Non K and more ram would be costly and could not reuse on new gen sys.

I suggest keep using it till its end and get a whole new system

good cooler too, and then OC that thing hard.
