Need a quick recommendation of motherboard for 8700k

Morpheus

I need a mobo for around $150 for this cpu. I will OC. don't need wifi or bluetooth. i was currently looking at

ASUS Prime Z370-P - $135 CAD

MSI Z370 GAMING PLUS - $155 CAD

 

any other suggestions also welcome. thanks!

that one is ~$180 in canada. would it make a big difference?

last year when the z370 boards launch, i specifically remember that the prime p was one of the worst boards, so is the msi gaming plus.

 

EVGA had the z370 ftw on clearance for 100usd for a good while, the asrock extreme4 was 110usd, gimme a sec to look through newegg canada for ya, don't get those 2 boards u listed unless there's nothing else.

the z390 gigabyte i linked is still a better board, so see if you also see it as 139 cad-40rebate.

 

Everything else is so inflated, no wonder linus says canadian pesos.

Can you try to explain me what is the difference between those motherboard, aka what makes some good and other "trash"?
