You lose out on the under display fingerprint scanner and teardrop notch for one that's a little more obtrusive, not to mention smaller battery and slightly larger chin, but you do retain the headphone jack and notification LED, and for those that prefer it, the finger print scanner is on the back (I'm an either/or kind of guy).

Thought about it, but the battery life just isn't there for me and there are better carrier deals to be had.
