Battlefield 5 Runs Like...

Battlefield 5 is running like shit. Even with the settings turned all the way down, I'm constantly sitting at 40-60fps. Which is playable, but far from ideal. Anyone else having poor performance with Battlefield 5?

Disable SLI and run 1080p, see if you still get 100 fps

On 4K with a single 980ti you should get 40fps in ultra btw

Mostly just comes down to what settings your running. 35-60fps for 4k with a 980ti sounds right

SLI sucks and has never been worth it,  980ti for 4k Sucks for gaming and is not a good experience compared to 1440p 144hz.

Try turning on future frame rendering and DirectX12, those give me a 20-30fps boost

Yeah, I have a monitor like that, but guess what: it doesn't make the game run any faster even if it's red. If anything upping the resolution just makes it run slower.

The game will run faster, at 1440p versus 4K. Plus, it has G-Sync and a high refresh rate, so that will help my gameplay experience with BF V.

This OP.

The 980 Ti was a good 4k card from 2015 to early 2017. It has largely fallen behind in 4k gaming. You would be far better suited for a 1440p G-sync monitor which will extend the life of your 980 Ti by 2 more years.
