DOES ONE REALLY NEED HIGHER CLOCKED RAM FOR RYZEN NON GPU BUNDLED CPUS ?

I was wondering , do we really need higher clocked ram for rygen cpus that are without integrated gpus ? for example ryzen 5 1600 , ryzen  5 2600 , ryzen 5 2600x etc . How much it affects "CPU" performance if use  2400 or 2666 ram ?

Minimally in real world usage.  In synthetic benchmarks there is noticeable improvement.  As a gamer you will see...negligible to nothing in difference (maybe 1-3 FPS between 2133mhz and 3200mhz - maybe - as a gamer)  If you are someone who uses your Ryzen to do something to make money I could see where every second counts.  I run a Ryzen 7 1700 with 2133mhz memory.  No need for me to upgrade after many discussions here.

It makes a significant difference because the infinity fabric runs at the same clocks as the memory. So you want at least DDR4-3000 with Ryzen.
