CPU possibly not shutting down?

Hi,

A while ago I noticed that in my Task Manager it says, that my CPU is running for 5 days. I have, of course, turned off the computer in less than 5 days, in fact just 30 minutes ago.

I would like to know if I should be worried or not, if there is a problem, what should I do?

Thanks, do I have to do this though? Like is it bad for my CPU to have this enabled?

My Mac has uptime of 37 days at this moment. Unfortunately I have never been able to get over 4 days on Windows, it just gets slow/clunky or some other issues arise.

It's not bad - it's just your computer working.

Please quote me next time so I know you replied.

 

It only becomes an issue if your PC has been 'on' for more than a few days, then it begins to feel slow. Generally I would tell people to turn this off anyway.
