This board is currently on sale for $110, but the sale ends tomorrow. Should I snag it or do you guys think there'll be a better deal on Black Friday and Cyber Monday? Will be paired with an i5-8600k

that board with 8600k is a good match, though the price probably won't go up before thanksgiving, theres no risk in waiting.

if it makes you feel better, hardware unbox did reviews on all the z390 motherboards, gigabyte seems to have gone the extra mile this gen

 

even their 120usd board has a 10+2 vrm, not even on sale.

I would suggest buying it. Its the one I have planned on. @Firewrath9 is right though, the z370 is a great board though the only tradeoff is not having any rgb headers. EVGA has sales every Wednesday too.

You can use rgb fans that have their own separate controller but you can't use a program within the pc to control and sync up the fans and other stuff, etc. Check what kinf of header the extreme4 has though

You can use software, just not motherboard software, rgb can connect thru USB 2.0 ports.
