Intel 8700 or 7700? Upgrade

I currently have a 4770k and looking to upgrade. I'm not worried about having the best, just time for more speed. Is the 8700 a worth while choice instead of 7700? Go ahead and add a "k" in the discussion if that serves you. Thanks for the help.

8700 is fairly better, 8700k is even better with its higher base clock.

8700k, better in every way. Its somewhat worth it but I wouldn't do it again.
