For the types of workloads you say you'll be doing on it, a laptop would be a better purchase.

500gb and 1tb HDDs cost the same, get a 1tb WD Blue instead.

Celeron? okay you're pushing too much, at very least a Pentium G5400.

The rest is alrightish considering it's all very cheap.

It'll run Fortnite fine at 1080p lowest settings. I have a GTX 765M and it performs similarly to the GT 1030.

That being said, get a used GTX 660 Ti, it costs like $30 more than a GT 1030 but destroys it in terms of performance.

beyond that.. it's not gonna blow your socks off, but i dont think you'll find much better for that pricepoint..

Why not look into an AMD 2200g or 2400g instead of a Celeron + GT 1030? It'll probably be more efficient for you. The integrated GPU is very slightly less powerful, but the CPU is much better.

It does look better

Cost wise it won't be too different, now a G5600 + GT 1030 GDDR5 is really decent, low end hardware has gone a long way.

backing this one.. i recently drilled out the pcie 1x slot on a pentium silver board (soldered low power cpu stuff) and added a somewhat capable GPU.. suddenly game-ready ?
