How Do I Approach Black Friday and NOT Implode?

TTesla

I am kind of freaking out haha

So I am planning on building a new PC, badly needed (see specs), and I just don't know when to buy. I don't even know what to buy at this point, I just have a rough price point, and a couple of things I want.

How should I approach this?

When should I start buying components?

Where should I look for the best deals? (I see this forum has a useful hot deals section)

Black friday or cyber monday?
Should I only look at tech places, or should I also keep an eye on places like costco and walmart?

Anyone that has gone through this before and want to let me know their experiences is kindly appreciated!

Double check everything, I am usually wrong.

I just heard it was the best time to build a PC, and I wasn't in a rush so I waited.

Easy, be poor so you don't have enough money to buy anything...at least that's how I usually roll on Black Friday ?

yeah no, only big brands like Macys e.t.c will give you deals on black friday. i guess best buy has deals, you can check there. but best buy is over priced, so you may not get the hugest discounts.

otherwise theres no where else yoru going to get "Special" deals

Newegg is better for pc parts, and Black Friday will definitely help reduce the cost

I was hoping to build a PC also around Black Friday, and I don't know what to do either. . .

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie,
        In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
        In Flanders fields.

I would approach it in a laid back, relaxed mood preferably with a vodka bottle in hand.

Just get the email alerts for sales, and buy then, or keep a record, otherwise you get stressed out too much.

Buy the components when you needs them, to install all at once.

I dont even bother with the hype no more, not worth the stress, not worth the line ups, not worth it.

Gosh I remember I stayed in a lineup all night, I remember mile long line ups (literally).

Not worth the $20 in savings!
