single channel ram with ryzen can cause problems?

Someone says just that im selling them my system... bs... but am i wrong and he is right?

Causes issues? no.

May decrease potential performance? yes.

Doesnt cause problem, you just have a noticable performance drop. not huge but it is there

 

Dualcannel is very much preffered.

 

Also fast memmory like 3000 mhz is preffered. Its also not much more expencive

Its a 8gb 3000mhz ram stick. The speed will more than likely compensate for single channel performance decrease... right?

As far as i know it will be slightly worse. Though i dont have the numbers on me. 

 

2 sticks of 4GB at 3000mhz should cost the same or slightly more. So id highly suggest buying a kit of that. You need sub 350$ budget for the entire system to not afford a dualcannel kit. (At least from my experience of designing budget builds)

Its already bought and no returns here in iraq. 

The system is r5 1600 8gb gskill aegis one stick and b350 pc mate likely

to be paired with a 1060 or 580/570
