So I have to admit, I didn't see the rest of their lineup (probably because everyone focused on the 18core) but finally they returned 8-core HEDT CPU to their rightful state with solder, PCIE lanes and quad channel memory - the 9800X. Though two 10-core chips in the new lineup is super confusing.
