Who is leading the best SSD charts these days ?

Back when I was building my PC in 2014 it was Samsung as the best option out there and some Crucial for value/price.

What is popular and reliable today except Samsung or what do you guys use these days ?
Black Friday is coming so I need second suggestion in case Samsung doesnt go on sale enough for my cheap arse.
I am looking for reliable SSD, doesnt have to be top speed but dont want something bad either. Good mid way is fine.

Corsair recently made the MP510, which is faster than a Samsung 970 PRO AFAIK. But I'd still get a Samsung SSD for the most endurance.

SanDisk, Crucial, Adata, Goodram. But it all depends on model. You can buy bad SSD from any of them.

I dont have trust in Sandisk for an SSD, Adata however could be intreresting. Nevr heard of Goodram so wont consider them either. Thx for input.

My personal favorite is WD. They are almost always the better $/GB option here in Canada and they have great warranty. Also their Black NVME SSD's are some of the best priced high-speed options available. I haven't bought a Samsung product in two years because they are overpriced. Everyone by default seems to suggest Samsung but I see their price premium as unnecessary. The last Samsung SSD I had was a 500GB 2.5" 850 Pro and since switching to WD I have not looked back.

 

I own like 3 Crucial SSD's as about a year or two ago before the WD Blue was released they had the best $/GB option but since then I'm team WD. I have probably 7 WD blue SSD' and 2 WD black NVME SSD's. Recently got 2 500GB WD Blue's for $80cad and that's the best $/GB option I have seen to this day.

They're all good.  Longevity?  You won't run one til end of life most likely.

 

Some are better, but they are basically all the same for the most part.  I'd use any brand I see on Amazon or Newegg.

you know Sandisk is a wd company right? i wouldn't consider goodram either.

 

the best you can get is crusial (micron) or Samsung in my opinion, but adata and kingston are fine too

Samsung pro drives are currently some of the best for longevity and speed. You pay for it though. Same with intel

Samsung definitely makes some of the most reliable and fast ones. But Segate is also a good bet.
