Quietest cooler for a 5ghz OC on a 9600k?

Emanbaird

I'm gonna try going for a pretty decent overclock, my 3960x solution was a fookin jet engine, I'm more partial to aios but I would prefer an air cooler if achieving 5ghz is possible on one

Noctua NH-D15 is huge and quiet, and I've used a be quiet! Dark Rock pro 4 to overclock an i9 7900x

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

artic freezer 33 esports one is good for the price, not sure if you can get 5 ghz on it tho

I would go straight to the big guns,

Bequiet Dark Rock Pro 4 and Noctua NH-D15.

If those can't cool it at 5ghz, then nothing can.

Look at those monsters:

Image result for Noctua NH-D15.

I only see your reply if you @ me.

Do you know I'd it would fit in a conspiracy 280x?

The only thing I'd be worried about Is ram clearance

Do you mean the crystal 280x? It looks like there's tons of clearance.
