Hey, I need help with my galaxy S5.


My galaxy S5 got a damaged screen Its completely black, and It does not have usb debugging on. and its locked. How can I access to the files that are inside.

Maybe you can still do something using an OTG cable and a mouse.

Provided, it's 'only' the touchscreen and actual LCD not working, you might just be able to connect a mouse to your phone, unlock it, press the media device thing and get the files off from it. Of course you're working blind though, so it might take a couple tries to click the right things.. Try to turn on sound, so you can actually hear if you're doing anything.


otherwise your cheapest other option is getting a new screen, either by purchasing a new (OEM) screen or getting a different S5 phone.
