What connection should I use for my monitor?

cpugeek21

I have a 1920 x 1200 monitor, and the connections available are mDP, DP and HDMI. I intend to connect it to my laptop as a second monitor.

If I want to run it at its highest resolution (i.e. 1920 x 1200), which connection should I use and what should I take note of? I see there's HDMI 2.1, DP 1.4 etc.. I'm really confused. If it matters, my laptop has a USB Type-C 3.1 as well as a micro-HDMI connection available. Also, my computer is running the integrated Intel HD Graphics 620. The computer also has no in-built speaker so I don't have to worry about carrying audio signal or anything like that.

Thanks!
