i7 8700 on B360 for Battlefield V ?

get an r5 2600 and a b450 motherboard and get a better monitor to pair the GPU with. you wont get the most out of it. a gtx 1070 is overkill for a 1080p 60hz monitor. also i would rather spend less on the CPU and more on the GPU

okay ! whats your take on AMD R5 2600 or i5 8600 for 3-4 years ?

whichever is cheaper.

personally i would take the 2600 as it allows mobo compatiblity with CPUs in 2020. meaning in early 2021 you can buy a new CPU from mid 2020

cheapest i can recommend is the B450 or B350 Pro4 series, on the more expencive side (and a whole lot better) is the B450 Tomahawk.

Yeah if you just want a GTX 1070 Ti for 1080p60hz the i7 8700 is more CPU than you need, if a Ryzen 5 2600 on B450 is any cheaper you could go with it instead.

I'd stick to the GTX 1070 Ti if 60fps at 1080p is all you want.

i7 8700 with  Asus B360M-D for Battlefield V , its gonna work ?

and i7 8700 for future proof as some games are more CPU Intensive and gonna use 100% CPU USAGE.

When using a motherboard with B360 chipset you are giving up RAM memory with higher speeds at 2666MHz, and have greater possibilities of expansion in terms of number of ports PCI express, USB.This plate in particular is poor in volume and amount of heat sinks on the components that generate more heat on a motherboard, and I think this is important, assuming that you could be playing for several hours, and you are demanding this motherboard.
I believe that this motherboard is for office work, where perhaps it does not demand as much.
You should also take into account the audio chip ....

Anyway, answering your question, I do not think there is any loss of performance when using the i7 8700 on this motherboard, or at least noticeably.

It is not mandatory to use Z370, but there are B360 motherboards, better prepared for gaming.

yes i know, here's i make compromise with RAM speed and Heat sink on VRAM+, thats very important for me, and i play long hours like 6-8 hours constant or 16 hours a day, but i have budget . if my budget expands i will buy Asus Strix Z370-G mobo for sure.

If bfv is as intensive as bf1 was, an 8700k will be ok given how it handles a single card at 1440. Averaging 70/80% use with something like bo4.
