True, but not strictly necessary, and won't have any impact on gaming other than load times. Although I personally don't like running windows off of an old HDD, they're perfectly serviceable. And if the OP is trying to do this cheaply, I wouldn't personally upgrade the storage until after the CPU, GPU, and RAM have been upgraded.

It's hard to know. There are a lot of fake video cards coming out of china. Just make sure to inspect the ad VERY carefully and make sure it doesn't say "overclocked *insert lower end card here*. Personally, I tend to avoid buying new stuff out of china.

A lot of these seem fake. Doing some careful searching and it seems you can get a 750 Ti for 50€ and a Q6600 for 10€. For 20-25€ you can typically get a A400 120GB SSD new for 20-25€ on most retailers. So, it comes out to about 80-85€.

The CPU looks fine but make sure to filter video cards by "used" to remove most scammers. They usually list the cards as new.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

I play games and nothing else. I would never own a system for that without an SSD.

Buy a GT 1030 (they can be found for $70).

@GirvanaWantsBinnieBalls No, I saw many GTX 760 are better and cheaper than GT 1030. Or just get GTX 750 Ti instead. You'll be good with that..

Buy a slightly better CPU and GTX 750 Ti to get the most out of your $70 budget

My bad.. so late to respond and read the entire replies..

Or maybe OP can find a cheap used Gigabyte GTX 760 Windforce triple fans 4Gb VRAM to get additional power.. But I'm concern for the PSU power cables for it, it needs 1x6pin + 1x8pin power

I bought a GTX 750 Ti for my father's old Core 2 Duo E7500 system.

Also bought myself a cheap used Gigabyte GTX 760 Windforce 4Gb triple fans as a standby/waiting GPU when I want to upgrade my modern GPU while it's on 3-4 weeks shipping, because I will always sell the current GPU before I get the new one.
