Newegg Asus ROG Swift - $499 (Comes with a SSD and Black Ops 4) SOLD OUT

DVA

Newegg's sales continue and today this caught my eye. My wife has given me the OK to purchase it. It comes with Black Ops 4 (currently $60) and a 256gb SSD from Intel (currently $55)

Newegg also promises to refund the difference if the item you purchase becomes cheaper later this month on their website.

I love that you included this statement xD

She'd have my head on a stick for dinner if I didn't ask her first lol.

She always gives me the "I don't care, but whatever you need" answer, but it's soooooo hard for me to buy something for myself. I can spend my whole life savings on her and my daughter, but when she throws me the OK, man..it's like 100x harder to buy it lol.

At least it gives you some peace of mind that Newegg is offering to refund the difference in the event that it get's cheaper down the line.

Oh yeah, for sure. Amazon doesn't do that, I know that for a fact. They had a "deal of the day" on their G502, 2 days later it dropped another 15% and they did not offer a price difference refund. They had to cancel my order and I had to repurchase it. (Yeah I'm kind of a stickler to saving my money)

Been there, done that.  Divorce showed me how imbalanced it all was ;) Hence the upgrades and birth of Emma.

It was actually my ex-wife that convinced me to get the UW and 1080Ti.  :)  She did the whole "Price of TV vs time spent watching... time on PC...????" argument.

That said, why haven't you bought the monitor yet?  It has price protection!!!

Yeah..I don't think anyone does lol. I only know very few adults who would rather work all day and such.

The only thing holding me back from purchasing this is...well it's me... My wife is going to Vegas and going to blow about a grand, maybe this will help me purchase it. BUT doing it is so hard because I know it's for me lol.

Fuck it, I'm going to make her purchase it as a gift to me. 10/10 solution.

If she wins, first I'll be upset because we agreed on no gambling (but she's in fucking Vegas, how could she NOT)

If she wins, I'm getting spoiled. I could replace my current monitor with a UW...HMmmm..

I think we can stretch the budget to get a 1440p UW, there HAS to be good pricing between now and Christmas.   Crossing fingers but it's your call.

Newegg's sales continue and today this caught my eye. My wife has given me the OK to purchase it. It comes with Black Ops 4 (currently $60) and a 256gb SSD from Intel (currently $55)

Newegg also promises to refund the difference if the item you purchase becomes cheaper later this month on their website.

as much as I want it, I think I am going to wait for black Friday just to see if there is anything better.

If you can find it cheaper on Newegg's website later down the line they will reimburse you the price difference. Let's say it drops another $100 during Cyber Monday, they will send that to your bank/paypal.

PLUS! You're getting BO4 and an SSD! A $115(not even including taxes) deal! So really, the monitor is going for something like $385, hell of a steal wouldn't ya say?

@jstudrawaHoly crap I think I just convinced myself to do it lmao

Part of me really wants the IPS version, so I'm kinda holding out looking at the AOC even though I wuld prefer the ACer or Asus versions.... (which are $650+)

I was really eyeballing those too..I do A LOT of photo editing so the IPS would be so beneficial to me. They also have built-in speaker, though I'd probably still use my Logitech externals.

But for getting this at 499 with free gifts that total up to $115. I don't know, $385 may never come again until next year. (Yes I know it doesn't actually decrease the price, the those free gifts do have monetary value)

A 256 SSD. will you even use it?

CoD: Black Ops 4, will you play it?

If no, then no value unless you sell them.  I never take into consideration things like that cuz I never play or the item is something I wouldn't use.

SSD - Of course, I have the bay space and currently eating up my 860 evo.

BO4 - I hate to say it but I've been playing every single one since MW2, so I was going to eventually get it.

"Stay strong" LMAOOO. I don't think I'll be going UW until one or two more years from now.. Sorry J but...

You could always sell them too and get close to their worth returned. Assuming you have no use for the game or SSD.

I never recommend the speakers that come in them. Fortunately that's never a deciding factor when buying for myself :D
