Nvidia has shot off it's "cannon ball" - RTX 2070.

Now we wait for the return fire of AMD

I hope like gamer meld said the navi card in 9 months don't disappoint

I still don't see the point of rtx if it affects the frame rates

Best of luck AMD give Nvidia a good challenge

Best Value Build List

Budget 1080p System (RGB) https://pcpartpicker.com/list/7v2Lmq - (this build comes with two free games with the RX 570)

canon ball? a 1070 ti with raytracing is a cannonball? amd has a big chance, especially with the problems they are having with the binning process of these cards

Yup cannon ball - big, fat, slow and hard to hit it's target.

Now the 10 series cards were bullets.

I call the 2070 a cannon ball because the RX Vega 64 8gb already caught up with it.

A previous gen cerd meant to face off with the 1080 only advantage was raytracing.

So the GTX 1070 Ti was a cannon ball because the GTX 980 Ti already caught up with it? your line of thinking doesn't make much sense.

the RTX 2070 is a GTX 1080 rasterization wise and the V64 was made to compete with the GTX 1080, so what exactly were you expecting? the RTX 2070 to be as fast as a Xp?

Erm did you forget Nvidia did say the gtx1080 was the equal to the gtx 980ti with better power consumption abd that's why all the reviewers didn't understand the point of the gtx 1070ti.

The truth a bout the gtx 1070Ti was they were 1080s that failed the qc so nvidia tried to get rid of.
