no no no no no, i'm talking about users with less than 100 followers who post videos of failed or failing cards...it's all over the place. In fact if you look on page one i posted a few of them...

Not worried at all.   If a component fails, then I will either RMA it or move on.  The only mass consumer product that I experienced a wide spread failure with was my XB360 and I was able to get over it.

I am concerned. RMA is a pain. The last card I RMAed was a GTX 980 ti. It took almost a month to get a replacement. 

 

A bigger concern to me is like the GTX 1080 at launch this card is under performing. Bench numbers are great. Gaming numbers, not so great. 

It took almost 6 month of driver updates to get all my games up to speed with the 1080. I am hoping it will take less time with the RTX 2080 ti.

 

I owned a GTX 970. After hearing about the vram issue I added 4k textures to Skyrim & ran with 3.8gbs vram. No difference in frame rate. Since all my other games didn't come close to using over 3.5gbs vram it was not an issue for me. It is probably a bigger issue today since a lot of games use over 4gbs of vram.

My 2080 Ti has been working nicely since day 1.

It's a Founders Edition. No, I'm not worried.

Bought a brand new Asus RTX 2080 OC 8G yesterday.

 

Tried it in two machines and get small green lines all over the screen before it tries to change resolution; then it defaults back to 640x or 800x.

That sucks, they probably screwed something up with the first batch of cards rushing everything out of factory.

 

There are also various issues going on with Display Ports with both Freesync and Gsync setups and Windows going bonky resizing the resolution.
