i am working on a whole new build and was wanting some feed back, planning on sticking to a orange and white theme

Don't, I'm an ultrawide enthusiast and I do say 21:9 is endless times superior to 16:9 however 34 inches is a 3440x1440p resolution display size, force 2560x1080p on a screen of this size provokes excessive pixelation.

 

Also a Ryzen 7 1700 bottlenecks hard a 1080 Ti on 1080p

The Ryzen 7 1800X? no not really it's not a different processor it just has higher clock out of the box.

Well it'll depend on the resolution of your display for gaming and what's 'editing' to you, as in what applications, video editing? photo editing? software editing?, how much actual work you plan on doing, professionally? hobby?
