How's this for a first build?

Not sure if this is the right place to put this, but I'm new here so here we go.

 

I'm new to PC building and would like to get by build checked out by someone who knows what they're doing. I plan to use it for mainly 3D rendering (both CPU- and GPU-based) and music production, but also occasional gaming. How does it look?

Is this an OK build? How can I improve it without spending much more? (I'm already at the top end of my budget)

That Asus motherboard isn't great. Maybe swap it for something like the MSI Tomahawk which is around the same price.

 

Also 3000 - 3200 ram should be about the same price.
