Logitech G502 mouse (small discount)

DVA
 Share

Logitech's G502 mouse is on sale for $38USD from its usual 49.99. I know it isn't the biggest "deal", but for I know there are others out there like me that just love to save a buck. It's arguably one of the best mice out there. Definitely a fan favorite. The mouse is normally 49.99 from retailers like Wal-Mart and Amazon, but normally around 59.99-79.99 from retailers like Best Buy.

I'm currently using the Razer Mamba Tournament edition I got as a gift 2 years ago. I'm not sure if I want to jump ship quite yet. It looks like one hell of a mouse and it's highly regarded. I'm just debating getting it or not. I may be able to convince the wife to say fuck it, go for it :D

When you say newer version, are you saying to get the same mouse (newer model), or to get the G502?

I've had my Mamba for 2 years with 0 issues. No stuttering in the mouse, no kinks in the wires, no bad software issues. Maybe I lucked out.

I had one, and then I bought my cousin's rigs off them (that I actually specced out and built, lol) when they got out of PC gaming, and they each had one. Thus three. Though if I needed more mice I'd defo buy them or another MX Master (I have a 1st gen for work). I do have a Corsair M65 but it's not that great, I like my logitech mice better. Have a G602 my little brother uses too, Logitech mice are amazing. I did have my first G602's USB receiver fry, but I called them and spent 5 minutes on the phone (not an exaggeration, actually about 5 minutes) and they sent me an entire new mouse free of charge. I have broken a G502 as well, but that was my fault so I didn't RMA it because IMO that's kinda dirty.

Well shoot, if you want to give away a mouse, I'll pay for the shipping LOL.

I've never used a Logitech mouse besides the cheap wireless ones, going to ask the wife today if I can pull the trigger on this one.

Dewit, they're amazing mice, the software is pretty decent for setting custom bindings on the buttons (and it has three profiles), and the customer support was pretty awesome when I called them. Just make sure to call, emailing them got nothing done.

Personally I love Logitech’s software and I love the mouse also. It is quite heavy though, even with all weights removed, so consider that. Other that that, I give it a strong recommend. 9/10. 8/10 for FPS games

I had lunch with my wife as per usual today, she gave me the usual, "I don't care, buy whatever you want" answer lol.

My ONLY dilemma now, is that the mouse was released nearly 3 years ago, so I don't know if it will drop even further in the coming weeks >.<

Logitech? Drop prices? LOL. Dank meme. If you want something newer you can get the G Pro or the G502 Hero. They use Logitech’s in house Hero sensor. I can’t speak for how it performs though.

So...what you're saying is...I should totally get the G502 for 38 bucks? XD

If you don’t mind a heavy mouse. I have big hands and would like it to be a tad bigger, but it’s probably a good size for the majority of people

edit: I will be modding mine to make a “stripper” mouse (read: rip as much shit out of the inside then drill holes in it to cut weight).

Weight is a preferemce, Personally I filled it with all the weights I could, I like a heavier mouse. But hena again my mouse pad is small so I'm not takign advantage ofa very large mosue and and rather making small minute adjustments to aim. You should see me spaz out in R6 Seige when I get the last kill so everyone has to endure a 2 second seizure LOL
