Goldenfir ssd?

Hello everyone,

Have any of you got any experience with Goldenfir SSD that is on aliexpress?

Iam considering to buy either this or kingdian but after a long research i found out that goldenfir is better since it uses micron chips.

P. S i know that i will be getting cheap ssd and don't mind them failing after 6 months or a year.

Any and all opinions are more than appreciated.

Thank you all

Truthfully, the chips are the problem with cheap SSDs as much as it is the controller.

Hi, I got an update for you guys. I've found out that if you buy the goldenfir ssd 240gb and above, you are using Samsung Dram cache and the storage chip. For the controller, SM microcontroller. I will follow up an update on my profile later this week.

Or maybe later as I'm working on a long term project.

As mentioned in another thread, please check actual flash model and manufacturer with SMI mptool.
