Transfering Outlook to another computer.

Hi, i was wondering how do i transfer all the e-mails and user configurations from old PC with Windows 7, to new PC with Windows 10. (Outlook 2011/2012)

If you have microsoft exchange all email are saved in the cloud and is accessble to a new pc

File --> Open --> Import/Export --> Export Files and settings.

 

In classic Haynes manual fashion - import is the opposite of exporting - 1 spanner. 

 

If it's just the mails you want then look for your PST file (that's the file that outlooks keeps your mails and folder structure in) copy it to the new machine and tell outlook to use that file (it's much quicker to do it this way if you have a lot of mails)  this is more of a 3 spanner job though.
