Asus Z370-E Motherboard HDMI Port Issue

Hi, I am currently building a PC and i am having trouble with my Asus Z370-E Motherboard's HDMI Port. The Problem that i am having is that none of my HDMI Cords will not go in and ive tried like 5 that i own. Does anyone know the type of Port this is ? or if its possibly broken. I will be also receiving my Processor tomorrow and i want to boot and get Windows 10 Installed as well as some games so when my graphics card comes later this week i can just put it in and start playing i am just trying to figure out whats up with it i have also put a photo of the back of my motherboard below.

See how you've got two tabs sticking into it in the top? Tose are supposed to go beside the port, not inside it. You need to take your motherboard out and make sure the tabs are out of the port.

I've circled the tabs. They're also in the DP connector.

Looks like that sheid was installed wrong. I thought those came preinstalled on that board.
