Samsung SM961 1TB M.2 NVMe or 860 EVO 1TB 2.5 sata III?

Thureos

Hello! I found both drives for a minimal difference in cost, so I am wondering if I should go for the older NVMe one. It's faster, but is it as reliable? I have an 840 EVO and I know it's solid. Thank you for reading.

Being able to plug the nvme straight into the board is great. So clean and tidy.

If you're interested in a product please download and read the manual first.

Yes

definitely get the NVMe drive when they are priced closely and have the same capacity.

Why wouldn't you? It's much faster for the same price.

I'd just make sure it's got enough cooling.

Thanks for the responses. NVMe it is. It actually costs like 8 dollars less and I can get it in monthly payments.
