Technically, this presentation is for a small collection of institutional investors. Not that the Techie Set cares, haha.

i mean, i get it. this isnt like the Apple event stream, but people want suff to predict the future.

on the good side. i can actually go make food now instead of waiting for stream thats not coming before 3 hours from now. if there will be a stream at all (un-official or official)

Ian Cuttress is going to live blog it. We might get a Periscope stream of it, but no official stream, it seems.

If the article that I read is right, it should start in about 35 minutes.

I know when it starts, just want to know if AMD is going to live stream it. Live Blog sucks, you missed the small stuffs, they won't bother mentioning. AMD's site and their Twitter page isn't helping either. No info about live stream.

Ah I misread what you wrote. Yea finding a link would be helpful, but now that I think of it, AMD being hush about it is somewhat worrisome.

currently AMDs strat has been that they want competitors to show their cards first in hope they mess up. the only requirement for them is then to not mess up

Not a very good strategy :// (it's also telling) Well, I'll wait and see, too soon to make judgments...

idk, staying quiet during Nvidia`s launch worked quite well. not to mention no harm was done staying quiet during Intel launch, in fact it probably favored AMD.

AMD has done major mistakes by being first. so instead of playing that game, they switched the tables

Well it creates the perception, in my view, that they're on the defensive. Then again, they could be pulling a Connor Mccregor and waiting to counter attack. But if Nvidia pulls a Khabib on them it's gonna get ugly real fast. Actually scratch that, Nvidia already has a stronghold on the market

The reason why it's no livestream yet is because it will be about datacenter stuff. Epyc 2 and possibly Vega 7nm.

It won't be about Navi or Ryzen Zen 2. Or if anything is mentioned about it it's just on the side/afterthought.

At least what I think.

Don't matter what they're going to show, I want to be part of the audience that watches it live, instead of reading about it.

Same, I just say AMDs reasoning to not make a bigger deal of it to normal people.

That's the same one I've posted, just under a different YT name. They all seem to be fake or have extreme lag where it's not going to do any steaming. Anand live blog has started.

I'm sure those who are truly into tech, would like to learn as much as possible, even if it's just enterprise parts.
